How much do neuromodulator injections cost in Montreal?

By Nisrine El Hila, Head Nurse

Treatment room at Clinique Le RoseWood

At Clinique Le RoseWood on Nuns' Island, Montreal, neuromodulator injections for expression lines start at $10 per unit + tax, as of October 2026. Some areas have a set price, starting at $150 + tax for a lip flip or bunny lines. How many units you need is decided in person, after I see how your muscles move.

Why is it priced per unit?

Because everyone needs a different amount. A strong frown muscle and a soft one don't take the same dose, and two people treating the same area can need different amounts. Pricing per unit means you pay for what's actually used on you, not a flat "area" price built around an average person.

The trade-off is that you can't get an exact total over the phone. What we always do is confirm the unit count and the total with you before we treat, so we're in agreement and there are no surprises at checkout.

How many units will I need?

I can't tell you without seeing you, and I'd be wary of anyone who gives a confident number without an assessment. The amount depends on:

  • which areas you want to treat (forehead, frown lines, crow's feet, or a mix)
  • how strong and active those muscles are
  • how much movement you want to keep
  • whether it's your first treatment or a follow-up
  • the product used

At your consultation, I'll watch you frown, raise your eyebrows and smile, and we'll talk about what you want to soften and what you want to keep. Then you'll get a number. If you want a lighter result, we can plan for that too.

What are the set prices for specific areas?

Some treatments use a small, fairly predictable amount, so we price them as one fee. As of October 2026, all + tax:

Treatment Price
Lip flip $150
Nose lift $150
Bunny lines $150
Brow lift $200
Nose slimming $300
Platysma bands (Nefertiti neck lift) from $500
Masseter relaxation (TMJ / bruxism) from $600
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) from $700

Forehead lines, frown lines and crow's feet are charged per unit. The full list is on our price list. If you're curious about the jaw and neck treatments, we explain the difference in masseter slimming vs the Nefertiti lift.

Is the consultation free?

The consultation with me (the nurse) is free with all treatments. There's also a physician consultation fee to know about. If it's your first time at the clinic, you don't already have a prescription and your treatment is under $400, you pay $150 for the consultation with the doctor. At $400 or more, the clinic covers it.

For example, 20 units of neuromodulator is $200 + tax. On a first visit with no prescription, that's $200 plus the $150 consultation. The same goes for a $150 lip flip on its own.

To book, we ask for a $60 + tax deposit, and it goes toward your treatment. With at least 48 hours' notice, it can be refunded or moved to a new appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice and no-shows lose the deposit.

How long does it last, and how often will I come back?

Results usually start to show within 3 to 7 days, with the full effect at about 2 weeks. Our neuromodulator page lists a typical frequency of every 4 to 6 months, but it varies. The area, the dose, your metabolism and how expressive you are all play a part. Some people come back sooner, some later.

So if you're budgeting for the year, think in terms of a few visits, not one. You're never required to keep going. When you stop, the muscle simply goes back to moving the way it did before. We cover that and a few other common worries in neuromodulators: five common misconceptions.

How do I compare prices between Montreal clinics?

Prices are all over the place, and a lower per-unit number doesn't always mean a lower bill. When you compare, check:

  • Is the price per unit, per area or per visit? An area price can hide how many units you're getting.
  • Which product is it? Units aren't interchangeable between different neuromodulator products, so "$X per unit" at two clinics may not be the same thing.
  • Is tax included in the price, or added on top?
  • Who injects, and is there a physician overseeing the medical side?
  • Is there a follow-up if something needs a small adjustment?

At Le RoseWood, every treatment is done by me under the medical direction of a physician, after a review of your health history.

Are there packages that include neuromodulator?

Yes, a few of our packages bundle it with lips and a facial:

  • Le RoseWood Essential, $650 + tax: 20 units of neuromodulator, 0.5 mL lip hydration and one hydradermabrasion facial.
  • Le RoseWood Bridal Package, $687 + tax: 30 units, 0.5 mL lip hydration and one hydradermabrasion facial, timed before the wedding.
  • Le RoseWood Ritual, $849 + tax: 30 units, 1 mL of filler and one hydradermabrasion treatment.

They're good value if you want everything in them. If you only want your forehead done, a package isn't the right choice. For lip pricing, see how much lip filler costs in Montreal.

Is it right for me?

It's often a good fit if you're starting to notice lines when you move your face, or lines that stay when you're relaxed. It's not the answer for everything. Lines from changes in skin quality, like texture or crepiness, usually need a different approach. We go through that in fine lines and wrinkles: choosing a treatment.

If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have certain neuromuscular conditions, or take certain medications, we may suggest waiting or a different option. We'll go over your history before anything is decided.

The clinic is at 108 Chemin de la Pointe N, Nuns' Island, Montreal, with free gated parking behind the building. Book a consultation or see our Nuns' Island, Montreal page for directions.
